Alembic Export

Alembic is designed mainly for objects and meshes. The export includes all meshes, including the animated vertices from GeoH tracking. It also includes cameras, though they seem to be an afterthought to the format.

Note: SynthEyes uses Alembic's "Ogawa" format, not Alembic's original slower and less efficient HDF5 format; applications reading SynthEyes-written files need to contain an up-to-date (Alembic 1.5 or later) alembic library.

Note that Alembic files cannot set up the shot imagery or object textures. You will have to do that manually after you've read the file into your animation or compositing application. This is a limitation of the file format itself, not SynthEyes.

For information on the export's controls, see the their tooltips.
