What SynthEyes does:

Lets you select a mesh and a tracker, then parent the two using a UI command

By default, preserves the mesh’s world-space position and orientation during parenting

If the shift key is held while parenting, the mesh snaps to the tracker’s 3D

position (legacy behavior)

Keeps the mesh’s rotation and scale unchanged

Makes the mesh follow the tracker’s motion - even across re-solves
