Reopen SynthEyes from Flame

Suppose you finish tracking in SynthEyes on Friday, then come back to work on the project on Monday. You’re working in Flame, and decide you want to refine the tracking. You could hide Flame, open SynthEyes, then open the shot file …. Or, in the Batch or Action schematic, right-click and select ‘Reopen in SynthEyes’, which will do the work for you.

Note: Flame can’t tell if SynthEyes is already open! You can get multiple open SynthEyes instances, even in macOS. Close any extras.

The ‘Reopen’ will open your previous .sni file, if you saved it at the pre- specified location in the project folder . If there’s no .sni file at that location, it will open the the shot “from scratch” in SynthEyes. You’re free to File/Open your earlier file in SynthEyes yourself, wherever it is; following the default filename make it easier.
