โOops! Not a survey.
Sometimes you may need to change a shot from a survey to a normal shot, or vice versa. You can only change a survey to a normal shot if all the images are the same size (if not, but you still need a regular shot, resize the images in your image editor app or write them out from the SynthEyes image editor).
To change a shot from a normal shot to a survey, add a survey shot with some dummy images (do not overwrite the IFL!), then do a Shot/Change Shot Images and select the original IFL. Select all the trackers, and re-parent them using the Coordinate System panel to the new survey shot.
To change a survey shot to a normal shot, create a new shot, selecting the IFL of the survey shot. The images must all be the same size. Select all the trackers, and re-parent them using the Coordinate System panel to the new survey shot.
