โExporting to Other Applications
While SynthEyes may be able to use file and tracker names with the full UTF-8 character set, that does not necessarily extend to other programs. You may want to do some test exports to your favorite programs to assess their UTF-8 support before going crazy with non-ASCII names.
Major applications such as After Effects and Fusion should do fine with Unicode characters, Blender seems to be lagging behind on this front.
