โ€ŒRefining Hierarchy

When working with a large pre-assembled rig, you may need to work with only part of it, using what is a child node in the rig as the root. In the hierarchy view, you can drag the child to the left past the left edge to make the child a root. Don't forget to move the mesh to be the child of the new root.

You may also want to reparent the mesh so that a child node is the parent, and its original parents are now children. For example, you can make the hand the root, with the lower arm a child, and the upper arm the child of it. To do that, select the desired root, then run the GeoH Make Selected the Root script.

There's also a GeoH Split Bones script to add additional detail.
