โ€ŒPreserve Metadata

Shot metadata should be extracted from the as-shot camera media and preserved in downstream versions, either in the image or in a separate metadata file. For anamorphic primes, weโ€™re interested in how the focus distance changed during each shot, if at all, as that will induce lens breathing weโ€™ll have to correct for. For zoom lenses, the zoom setting and changes will be useful as well. Note that weโ€™re not going to use the metadata directly as part of the solve, it isnโ€™t accurate enough for that, we just want to know what happened when, to better constrain the solve.
